“We the jurors remain deadlocked on all counts,”
read the note from the jury in federal corruption trial of City Council Member Larry Seabrook.
For the fourth time in as many days, jurors have signaled that they are at an impasse on all 12 counts.
Seabrook’s lawyers could ask Judge Robert P. Patterson to declare a mistrial.
Courtroom observers believe that the jurors will be discharged late on Friday, if they remain deadlocked tomorrow.
CM Seabrook said he continues to put in his faith in the Lord and the jury system.
Whatever happens, tomorrow could conclude a short, sordid chapter in what seems like an ending tale of political corruption in New York.

Why is it that most corruption and and deciet and rapes and murders and robberys are either mexicans or blacks? Oh I guess they are just blamed for it because of thier skin color Right? Ya right.
I disagree with you, James. No racial, ethnic or religious group has a monopoly on either good or evil. Criminals tend to prey on their neighbors. Going outside of that “safe” and familiar community is fraught with danger. Fear of getting caught, fear of standing out and most of all, fear of not succeeding.
Rather than stereotyping those we don’t know, we should instead speak out against the predators in our backyard. The men who raped, tortured and murdered a Connecticut mother and her two daughters are white men. The man who shot up a bus in Brooklyn and killing a young father is a black man.
We should mourn these deaths and seek justice against the evildoers, not condemn white, black or hispanic men.
