“We the jurors remain deadlocked on all counts,”

read the note from the jury in federal corruption trial of City Council Member Larry Seabrook.
For the fourth time in as many days, jurors have signaled that they are at an impasse on all 12 counts.
Seabrook’s lawyers could ask Judge Robert P. Patterson to declare a mistrial.
Courtroom observers believe that the jurors will be discharged late on Friday, if they remain deadlocked tomorrow.
CM Seabrook said he continues to put in his faith in the Lord and the jury system.
Whatever happens, tomorrow could conclude a short, sordid chapter in what seems like an ending tale of political corruption in New York.
