The Economist | Robot ethics: Morals and the machine http://www.economist.com/node/21556234?frsc=dg%7Cb via @theeconomist
Interesting and well worth reading for anyone concerned about where this brave, new world is headed.
If you read Issac Asimov’s I, Robot or saw the Will Smith film of the same name, you understand the growing concern about robot ethics.
Should a robot-controlled vehicle give priority to preserving the lives of its passengers or pedestrians? Should self-guided drones put mission goals ahead of the lives of civilian noncombatants (collateral damage)?
What would be your robot ethics?
