Back in late May, it looked as though my former Assembly colleague Crystal Peoples-Stokes needed Olivia Pope to get out a media jam.
Watch news anchors rip her responses re Shelly Silver. Buffalo TV station WGRZ — http://t.co/apzHSe73yL
Do you think a resignation by Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver would’ve resorted in chaos, as AM Peoples-Stokes asserted in that Buffalo TV news interview?
Or was she wrong and did she hurt herself in the eyes of women legislators and feminist activists?
Today, many are asking if Assembly Speaker Silver will be at his post come January. What do you think? Please comment below.
AMAZING CHAOS…AS IF THEY DON’T HAVE THAT NOW!
If Silver is still in his post come fall or still in office come next election period it would represent that democratic leaders and voters are lacking what it takes to model behavior, set the example and appreciate the basic public need to suffer consequences for wrong behavior. It would be a shame and would represent proof that there is no change, no moral compass, no standards, no credibility.
