An unremorseful Anders Breivik declared at his sentencing in a Norwegian courtroom,
“I apologize to all militant nationalists that I wasn’t able to execute more,” Breivik said.
Breivik was ordered imprisoned for a period between 10 and 21 years, the maximum allowed under Norwegian law.
Breivik believed that Islam was moving against Europe and blamed the Norwegian government for not defending the European culture.
Americans should be concerned with Anders Breivik becoming a martyr to militant nationalists here and in Europe. Copycat solidarity actions should worry US Homeland Security and the FBI.
