De Blasio dodges questions amid corruption probe — again (NYP)
A weary Mayor de Blasio — with growing bags under his eyes — trotted out tired talking points on Thursday even as he was barraged by a fresh round of questions about the investigation into his fund-raising. “Guys, as I’ve said many times, we hold ourselves to the highest standard of integrity. Everything we’ve done from the beginning is legal and appropriate,” de Blasio told a swarm of reporters in Midtown. “There’s an investigation going on. We’re going to fully cooperate with that investigation. We look forward to the speedy conclusion of it, but we’ll fully cooperate. But since there is an investigation, I can’t go into any details,” he added.

The Mayor and his political operatives are going to be found in violation of Election Law, when they circumvented the contribution limits. Mayor Bloomberg gave lots of money in contrbutions to individual candidates and Party organizations. He, nor his people ever got caught directing to whom the money should be given to. Only District Attorney Vance can save DeBlasio, by refusing to prosecute. Vindictive Governor Cuomo is ecstatic seeing DeBlasio squirming. Cuomo could also be in trouble if prosecutor looks into relationship between Cuomos operatives and the NY Partnership and business groups who poured millions of dollars into the Governors campaign and his various public innitiatoves.
