Seabrook Jurors Wrap Fourth Day of Deliberations – WNYC.
On Day 4 of deliberations, WNYC Radio is reporting that jurors in Councilman Larry Seabrook‘s federal corruption trial asked for more transcripts of testimony from a half dozen witnesses — including the embattled politician’s former girlfriend.
The jury was especially interested in the testimony of Gloria Jones-Grant allegedly Seabrook’s former mistress and head of the nonprofits that were a part of the alleged kickback scheme. While on the stand, Ms. Jones-Grant revealed that she is receiving treatment for early onset dementia.
