Evidence that Rick Santorum is the “Anti-Christ”
-
On the campaign trail this week, GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum made statements that lead me to believe that he is the fabled false prophet whose coming evangelical preachers have long heralded.
- Santorum reiterated his belief that one of President Obama’s driving motives for encouraging Americans to attend college is to “remake you into his image.”
- “President Obama once said he wants everybody in America to go to college – what a snob!” [Santorum] said to laughter and cheers from the audience. “There are good, decent men and women who work hard every day who aren’t taught by some liberal college professor.”
- “Wouldn’t it be nice if we had political leaders, people in Hollywood, people in the news, people in education affirming your message instead of trying to destroy the very fabric of faith and family in this country?” [Santorum] asked the tea party crowd.
- I don’t believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute. The idea that the church can have no influence or no involvement in the operation of the state is absolutely antithetical to the objectives and vision of our country.”
In my view, very little seems to separate Rick Santorum from the Iranian and Taliban mullahs. The more Santorum campaigns, the more his extreme views surface. I think the Christian Right should become aware of the “false prophet” in their midst. The Deceiver has them fooled about President Obama. As predicted, he knows scripture, preys upon prejudices, and seduces weak, fearful minds.
Is Rick Santorum the anti-Christ?
You make a point many social conservatives miss, that the beast will fool the elect – those words are in the Bible. He is clearly a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and mixes his theology liberally with lies and distortions. I think Putin and Assad, though, have better credentials at this point, and Santorum doesn’t seem to political shrewdness necessary to do much more than discredit his own obsolete ideologies.
When Santorum talks about “the church” having a say in American politics, he of course means the catholic church. His outright attacks on protestant churches goes beyond the pale. Keep it up Santorum and you and your ilk will be sent back to Europe.
